Our take

Mia Reef is one of those places that feels like a secret. Located on a small private island connected to Isla Mujeres, it offers crystal-clear waters, its own snorkeling reef and proximity to Playa Norte, one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. The atmosphere is intimate and quiet, perfect for couples and honeymoons. The ferry logistics are the only downside, but for those seeking a paradise away from Cancún's bustle, it's totally worth it.
